The Tunbridge Wells Fly Fishing Society is a friendly of group people interested in the art of fly fishing. We are based in Tunbridge Wells in Kent and welcome members from the surrounding areas of Kent, Sussex and London

The membership covers all levels of ability and consists of Senior England International fly fishermen and many other very experienced anglers, all of whom are willing to pass on their knowledge. There have been many members that have joined the Society with little or no knowledge of trout fishing that have become very competent fly fishermen

The Society runs a summer programme of fly fishing events at a variety of different waters to suit the bank fishermen and those that prefer to fish from boats. A week long trip to fish the limestone Loughs of the West of Ireland has become an annual pilgrimage for Society members and more recently a long weekend trip to fish the Midlands reservoirs has also been introduced

There is a very sociable side to the Society that often involves a beer after the fishing to chat through the success or otherwise of the day

The Society has several cups and shields to be fished for during the year and has a competition team that represents the Society in National competitions

We hold a prestigious Presentation Dinner Dance in March every year where the trophies and awards are presented to the winners
